The Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) is the ideal venue for the World’s Poultry Congress with its award-winning catering, advanced technological capabilities and functional flexibility. The centre is considered one of the world’s leading purpose-built convention centres and is centrally located in the heart of the South Bank Parklands within walking distance of the city’s business district.

Climate
The Brisbane winter is mild and very pleasant. Most winter days are sunny with average temperatures of around 12-23º C (54-73º F) See “Dress” below for clothing hints.
Special diets
Please note that a special diet requirement is when a person chooses to omit certain foods or food groups from their diet on religious, ethical, moral or medical grounds. Provision will be made for food intolerances, Halal and Kosher requests, as well as vegetarian/vegan requests. Please note that requests for non-specific requirements, such as low GI or low fat, cannot be guaranteed. If you have a special dietary requirement, please indicate this on the registration form.
Dress
Smart casual attire is appropriate for the Congress sessions, Welcome Reception, and Congress dinner. Winter nights in Brisbane can be chilly so we suggest you bring a warm jacket for outdoor
activities.

The Congress Managers do not accept responsibility for personal
